Interesting viewing. Revisits the infamous petition of last year.

Interesting, but the camcorder bloke seemed to have gone out to pick an argument to prove his point. I would certainly ask if someone was pointing a camcorder at my face and panning as I walked along the street at that close distance. Then he [camcorder bloke] got hostile from the off and the CSO reacted in kind.

Sure we can photograph in public, but we can also legally fart in public - doesn't make it right to do so in peoples faces...

I agree, he did seem to be looking for a fight. Of course all the footage was edited into clips to make the case for the photographer. I wonder if he wasn't filming for a longer time before the CSO approached? I wonder if the photographer behaved even more aggressively but it wasn't shown? I wonder about a lot - it would be interesting to see all the footage uncut!

Cut or uncut, the footage clearly shows the officer telling the guy filming to shut up. That cop is one hell of a stupid thing...

We have a phrase here in England to describe individuals like him- a 'Little Hitler'. For some reason we seem to hear this phrase much less than we used to, a bit ironic since we seem to be encountering more and more of these individuals here, both in and out of uniform.

Regards,

Alex.

Bloody police state manners.

Damn right, a while ago I got stopped outside the Chinese embassy in London by a real British cop. That was a complete different experience and I even explained to him how unhappy I was that he said that I could be a terrorist. Nevertheless it was quite a civilized stop and search (for which I didn't get searched) and he thanked me in the end.

But that Asian guy seriously needs to get a life and learn some English!
