For those of you who rather have white grayish fonts instead of the blue, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the theme:

VBP Graphite Xpand - White font

This should help you a little if you really are that picky. Anyway, more themes to come including a white background one. Just give us time. If yo want to see what the White one looks like, goto www.nikoncamerauser.com and select the VBP Iskin Fixed White theme from that page.

Jorge, it's not a matter of being picky - it's an eyestrain issue. The white theme "over there" is perfect!

Thanks!

Good to know, I really don't like light text on dark backgrounds. I have excellent eyesight but I still find it uncomfortable to read.

You can simply view it in Firefox and set to override the CSS.

This is what it looks like. Takes two seconds to change it, back and forth.

Most modern typefaces were not designed to be reversed (white on black) but web designers just love dark backgrounds. Given the difficulty of making a return on the time invested, people don't seem to be designing web-appropriate fonts.

The new "VBP Hex Cell Xpand" is *much* easier on the eyes - thanks!

My OLD tired eyes can't take the dark backgrounds, but I really like the Hex Cell Xpand, thanks to all for your hard work. This forum is even BETTER.

The gray text on dark gray background is very nice.
Easier on the eyes I think.
White text on black background or vice versa is too contrasty for my young eyes.
