I have been seriously considering getting myself an Epson R1900.

I would want to print on glossy and matte papers. Mainly for framing and portfolio.

I would print both color and BW.

Does anyone have any experience with this printer, or maybe other recommended pigment A3 printers? :)

I love the R1800. Incredible color - better than anything I have seen a lab do. Never heard of the R1900. The R2400 is the current A3 pigment standard from Epson. Also does amazingly good b&w, or so I've heard. Haven't used a 2400 myself.

The r1900 is the model that has taken over the r1800. photo-i.co.uk has a nice review of it. I had first set my mind on the r1800, but then I heard about the newer model.

Yeah, they are should be superb, the b&w from the 2400, thanks to that special gray ink I suppose :)
