Leica M3 DS Pricing

I'm looking for a Leica M3 to go with my IIf. I wanted to know what was a fair price for an early serial (702xxx) DS M3 in decent condition. The camera comes with the 50mm f2.8 Elmar.

All depends on condition. 600-900, but check Ebay prices.

I've been wandering a bit on the Bay. I often see the SS around 800-900, but I wasn't sure about the DS. Is there a price difference between SS and DS?

I've been watching ebay prices over the last two weeks and there seems to be little difference between ds or ss. lowest £270 average £340 for normal cond ie decent user up to £500 for ones with no marks dents etc. thats a very early serial though which may attract a premium. decent elmar's seem to be £160-200

ds is usually cheaper. Late ss M3s with serial numbers >1000000 get the highest prices.
