Hi
Not too exiting.
Leica increased the price to £3,400 from £2990 in January so the new price minus £500 if you buy a lens at the same time is what is being offered.
Thanks for the post
Richard

Here we go again. Back to the strategy of 90's. This means Leica is in deep trouble. Cameras are not selling well at all.

Not sure..... Because it also applies to the film bodies.

That was a very interesting and telling article. The most important thing that I think said by Kauffmann was:

"...Well, if you keep telling your customers ever changing stories about the M8, they lose confidence. I do not think this is a good thing to do. We“re going to point out to our customers that the M8 is a long term project for us..."

Add to that the incessant rumors some Leicaphiles are known for and more damage than good is done.

The owner of the company says the M8 is a long term project. So be it and time will tell.

I think we should all stop worrying about the next M or the updates and just have a good time with the 8 or the 7 or the 6 etc. take some nice pics enjoying what we've got and reminding ourselves how lucky we are to have great Leica equipment.
