Incredibly stupid.. and blasphemous at that too, what with capturing the decisive moment with a digi-Fuji instead of an M-series Leica.. :D
I'm afraid to take a stranger's picture and they don't have jaws that big.
"I was shocked - the animal clearly wanted to kill me,'' Mr Mashiah, from Tel Aviv, told the Northern Territory News.
A killing machine with 60 million years or so of evolution and so nearly a worthy recipient of a Darwin Award.
dumbarse --- certain animals are not to be screwed with.

He's mistaken. The animal wanted to eat him. Killing is incidental.
"I didn't realise that crocs were so aggressive". A priceless understatement.
Anybody that taunts a crocodile is more than a little bit dumb. Kinda a cool series of picks, though.

So, where's the backpack? That looks more like a boat to me.
Sheesh -- the guy manages to avoid getting harmed by Hezbollah and nearly comes to a bad end half a world away.
Makes 'street photography' seem like a bit of a snooze! :p

Makes 'street photography' seem like a bit of a snooze! :pAs someone pointed out a while ago, 'street photography' actually is dangerous, because buses are big. Footpath (or sidewalk) photography is a good deal safer and a lot more popular :D.

That is a lesson learned
That's a baby! :)
Being a Sydney cityslickers, my 14 year old son and I took a campervan 6,500 km's last July - from Sydney to Darwin.
While we fished for some barramundi, I snapped some shots from the boat with my DSLR. There wasn't to many places where you couldn't turn around and see some of these bigs boys...

Just on legal size.
55cm from memory or the length of a carton of beer. I think the NT Government made it that length because they know there will always be a carton of beer on board :)
