Im just getting into buying my first new set of lenses for my voigtlander r2a, and can pick up a host of seeming ltm copies (poor student so leica / zeiss lenses out of the equation, but new voigtlanders are still an option) from a local camera shop, that seems to be selling at a respectable price, but i cant seem to find any information on this fuji 35mm f2 at all!

if anyone knows anything about this lens, or maybe even has some examples of what it can do, im very interested, as i can seem to find out about all the nikkor's canon RF lenses for sale but nothing on this one.

Hi Welcome to the Forum.

If you are looking for less expensive lenses, this is probably not one to be looking for. It sometimes comes up on eBay but attracts collector prices. ;)

hmm, ill have to go along again and check, as i think he seemed to lump it together with the other sub £200 ltm lenses he had.

is it known to be pricey, just because of rarity? or any optical qualities it has, because i am by no means wanting to buy a lense just because of rarity etc, im just looking for the best performer/s in my current price range.

I have no idea whether it's really that great of a lens compared to comparable lenses from the same time period ( e.g., the Canon 35/2) but it is rare, so if you can pick up for "only" £200, you could probably make a considerable profit by reselling.
