Yes, leave it to me to come up with an odd tangent on a subject, but something got me going this time. I'd just won an auction on Ye Olde Auction Site (for an Olympus VariMagni Finder...I had to fight a little for this one; if any of youse guys were bidding, no hard feelings, okay?), and I decided to check out some of the other stuff this guy was selling, as he mentions having bought a large quantitiy of old gear at an estate sale.

This (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350029815275&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_RCRX_Pr4_PcY_BID_IT&refitem=350028806751&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&usedrule1=CrossSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget&_trksid=p284.m183&_trkparms=algo%3DCRX%26its%3DS%252BI%26itu%3DUCI%2 52BSI%26otn%3D4) was the first thing I stumbled across at random. All I can do is wonder, why bother? This thng wasn't all that desirable when it was brand spankin' new (not a knock on Ricoh, but having Sears rebadge the thing so indifferently isn't exactly a help. No, the "Tower" series was of a different era)

Somebody buy the thing and give it a decent burial, or possible recycling. Okay?

Any other candidates for this dubious title? :)

Don't be so cruel -- plastic has feelings, too :D

As far as "Most Unwanted" -- how about gently used flash bulbs or a Kodakmatic 126 with an inoperable shutter release?
