In my tape collection I have "Memphis Belle", I like planes and when younger I collected so many tapes as possible with planes. I'm not so much familiar with Watkin works, but I'll re-look at this movie as my small personal tribute to him.

Thank you for this. That is a seriously impressive list of films to have worked on, especially Out of Africa, which is beautiful.

I've always wondered why the cinematographer is not as big a name as director. They have far more impact on the viewer than pretty much anyone else in the productin, IMHO.

A sad day, but I'm glad the man was able to make the contributions he did during his life.
