I must say that I have been using the M8 in extremely cold conditions and it has worked flawlessly. In temperatures as low as 6 degress with a wind chill of -30. My Nikon D200 performs terrible in the cold weather, lens and view finder fog up unless it is left in a cold place to start with and then the batteries die quickly.
