Lee, has been "removed from power by the company's supervisory board." Reportedly, Mr. Lee has been replaced by the firm's owner and board chairman Andreas Kaufman, who will run the company jointly with board financial controller and treasurer, Andreas Lobejäger, until later this month. Interestingly, we're not told who will pick up the reins permanently after that -- nor exactly why (http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/25/leica-annouces-update-plan-for-buggy-m8-digicams/) the decision was made -- but we suppose it's only a matter of hours before we find out.

And did you know the Pope is Catholic?

Or is he just marketed as Catholic? Perhaps he is a rebranded Baptist
I believe the idea is that he can be upgraded to any religion of your choice for an appropriate fee (though at the time of going to press, a quieter but slightly slower Pope is the only available upgrade)

The Pope still uses his trusty old M3 with a very old f2 50mm Summitar and my sources tell me he has no interest in moving to the M8. All of which has absolutley nothing to do with the change in direction of Leica management.

Get back on track guys..
Hi,

The (humorously-intended) point was that you're telling us something that is already old news ;-)

Best regards,
