I just received a book from MacFarland & Co Publishers, the title of the book is the title of this thread:

http://www.mcfarlandpub.com/book-2.php?id=978-0-7864-3221-9

It a book that covers early History of Nippon Kogaku all the way up to the period when the first importer in the USA was sold to EPOI in 1953.

I am up to page 57, and I tell you, I have been enjoying it to no end, being Nikon Kiu of course :D

Every Nikon fan out there should read this book, it's full of historic facts and pictures.

AND HERE IS THE BEST PART:
I know the Author, Michael Wes Loder is a fellow member of NHS. If you find a question you need to ask him about his book, post it here and I will invite him to answer it in person.

Cheers,

Kiu

I heard Wes present this at the NHS Convention in Vienna in 2006. It was one of the most interesting talks I had heard in a long time. No doubt I'll buy his book.
