Amazon has it as well - for $26 with the pre-order but they have a release date of May.
Do you know if the release has been pushed back or do you just have to wait longer if ordered from Amazon?

I've seen conflicting info on the release date. The publisher seems to indicate March, but everyone else seems to indicate May, which is when it was first published (May 15). This is a 50 year anniversary edition, so May would seem to make sense. I ordered through Amazon also (and ordered his new book on Paris: http://www.amazon.com/Robert-Frank-Paris/dp/3865215246/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1202669156&sr=1-1) and both are showing May. Either way will suit me!

I ordered from Amazon UK in Dec 07 and have been quoted a dispatch date of 31st March.Looking forward to receiving it whenever it arrives!

My local university library has a copy of the The Americans, and Kerouac's introduction will be music to the eyes of many photographers. He paints a wondrous picture of accompanying Frank on the beginning of "the " road trip, as I understood it.
