Konica S-II

That's S with a Roman numeral "II". It was my first 35mm camera and I still have it.

Does anyone else have this camera? It wasn't imported into the US; my uncle brought it back from Japan in the 1960's.

I also purchased a used Konica S-II around 1972 while living in Sasebo, Japan. I used it for a few years with an external meter and while it did OK, I guess I got tired of it and sold it off here in the states. It appeared to be well made, but something messed up the shutter speeds, which I can't remember how or why, so, unfortunately, it went the way of many other RF's which I previously had in my possession and like an Idiot, got rid of. I still stick with my Yashicas and a nice Konica C35 which is also giving me some problems with the shutter not opening. I may end up operating on it to see if it can be salvaged.
