I've got a student with a Rolleiflex he's having trouble Id'ing.
75/3.5 Xenar lens, Serial # 1473XXX. It is marked DBGM along the top of the camera, front edge.
As well, who does a good CLA on these cameras? This one is remarkably clean, sounds well lubed, and the first films look fantastic, but a CLA is certainly in this cameras future. Where should it go?
Thanks.

Probably an MX-EVS

I believe Harry Fleenor is *THE MAN* when it comes to these. I had mine done at Central Camera in Chicago though. CLA was about $150.

Looks like a perfect match. Many thanks.
I'll pass ths along. This has a neat pop-up hood on top, with a little built-in mirror for viewing through the back of the hood. Just a gem of a camera.
So what are these worth?

Couldn't really tell you. Maybe $350-500 or so for a CLA'd example?
I paid about $1k for a CLA'd 2.8 Planar E3 a few years ago... but those seem to be in higher demand than the 3.5 models. It's also a bit newer.
Great shooters. Smack him if he contemplates selling it.

Google should give too many other sites to look at in one lifetime.

Don't forget to Google "Robert Doisneau". Better yet, go to the library and look for his books.
