I've recently entered the world of rangefinder photography. I've purchased a Voigtlander R4A and a Nokton 40/1.4 MC lens, and a nice old Yashica Electro GX camera as backup. The Yashica has a nice looking 40mm f/1.7 lens.

I'm sure I'll eventually see the answer to this question, but I thought I'd get a head start and pose it to the RFF community.

Does anyone here have a sense of the differences I can expect to see in pictures created with the CV outfit and the Yashica. I'm using Kodak Portra print film mostly. The CV outfit cost me over $1K... the Yashica $100, so shouldn't I expect the CV pictures to be 10 times better? :D
