C3 Shutter stays open

I have just been given a 'pretty' C3 but, and I was told this by the guy who gave it to me, the shutter stays open after one fires it. Shuttter blades close when you cock the shutter and fires but then stays open. Any ideas please?

Hi, on the Argus Camera Group forum this question pops up from time to time.The solution is to "flood clean" with lighter fluid.They remove the lens and liberally swab the shutter blades front and back with the solution and let dry,then exersize.Repeat as needed,try it out. Robin
