We have chosen the next two books to be discussed as part of the RFF book club.

The first will be "Art and Fear" by David Bayles and Ted Orland. This book is widely available. Our discussion will begin in roughly four weeks (once we have had a chance to acquire and read the book).

The second book will be "The Genius of Photography" by Gerry Badger. This book is available in the US at abebooks.com. It is also available through amazon.co.uk. We will begin discussing this book once the discussion of "Art and Fear" has wrapped up and we have allowed a suitable interlude.

All are welcome to participate in the discussions. So, if you're interested in joining us, get reading! :D

Randy, not to worry. I believe Marc mentioned that we wouldn't start the review for about 4 weeks. I think that leaves us approx. 2 or 3 weeks. I started reading it and have been very pleased with this selection. For me, it has hit home fairly well. It will be interesting to discuss it.

As for "The Genius of Photography", I was a bit disappointed with the copy I received. The packaging was poor, and the book was damaged in shipping. For the cost of the book, I expected a pristine copy and have initiated a return. I may have to sit out on it's review.

Good shooting,
Otto...
