Kiev infinity lock

When I mount a 35mm or 135mm lens, the infinity lock does not pop up, at infinity, like it does with 50mm lens. Is this normal?

Well, I am a brand new Kiev owner and haven't even gotten the first roll through and developed, so what do I know. However, if you check post number five here, http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51598 you should find your answer at least on the Jupiter 12.

i think it normal, my jupiter 12 is not locked too.

Yes it is normal.

Notice that the external lens mount keeps the infinity lock pressed. So it's basically same with all external mount lenses.
