Leningrad 2 light meter

hi,

i do not know if this thread is in the right "forum", so pardon me.

i just acquired a LENINGRAD 2 light meter and the net doesn't really provide me anything that i could easily understand as far as the use is concerned.

how do i use this meter? there is a screw adjustment at the back. how do i adjust this and where should the needle be pointing at?

You could aim a meter (separate or in a camera) known to be accurate at an even coloured wall and see if your Leningrad gives the same reading. I do not know Leningrads, but the screw may be for calibration.

Hello.
Adjust the film sensivity in DIN or GOST (GOST equals about 90º of ISO sensitivity), then turn the dialsuntil the pointer matches the needle. Compare the readings with the readings from a reliable meter poited at the same subject.
The screw in the back is indeed for calibration, it turns around 180º.
Very nice meter if it is a working one (and a pretty object also!)
