I recently bought a nice rollei 35, I loaded the film and took the photos withough a problem, but now I am not sure as how to unload the film? when I try JUST the rewind crank, it seems sketchy and hard to push. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a rewind button or anything I need to push beforehand?

There is a rewind release button near the flash shoe that you have to push.

Did you move the R-lever next to the viewfinder?
Edit: this is on my 35 TE. I have no idea how the 35 works.
Jamie is right. Depending on the model, the lever/button is at different
places - but there is one. The button near the shoe is on the 35B.
