View Full Version : I really hope Neopan 1600 pulls well

Because when reaching into my film stash I mistook it for bloody Acros. And I just shot a roll of it outside in the cold under sunny conditions at ISO100. :bang:

Only me!

I guess I'll just develop it normally without any great expectations if only to see how my M3 works. I see on the Massive Development Chart that one can shoot Neopan 1600 at ISO 200 and develop it in HC110h for 5 minutes. I'll develop it so and hope that the exposure latitute is such that a stop overexposure will still turn out decent images. Maybe it won't entirely be a disaster.

Microdol-X might be a good choice- I use it for developing HP5+ when I shoot it at 50, nearly as much of a pull.

Ha, Darren, I now have proof! You are just as dumb as I am OR we are equally brilliant. Take your pick ;)
I did EXACTLY the same thing with Neopan a couple of months ago. I still have the roll in the refrigerator waiting to figure this one out.
I wonder if Diafine would work OK here. Does anyone have experience with that?

Great minds think alike. Fools seldom differ.

I think I'd be tempted to use a developer that tends towards losing a stop or more of speed anyway, like maybe Perceptol. Dev time would need to be pure guesswotk though. I'll be fascinated to see the results, however you develop it.
