Anh Minot bodies go for USD800+. Mint 50/2 can fetch $450. The Kit (body + 50 + flash) still can be had for about $1100, sometimes less.

Andy and Wgerrard, Thank you very much for your help.
I intend to pick up the Hexar RF and may be the 50f2 and 28 f2.8.

I bought the whole kit (body+lens+flash) in a like new condition for about 5900 danish kroners (around us $1100) which comes wtih one year warranty (!) I suppose that's the going rate nowadays.
One thing I notice it seems tha Hexar RF's price has been steadily rising perhaps due to the fact that it is an equal alternative to the (much) more expensive M7 and people realize that all the rumours about Hexar RF are just what they are, rumours.

I thought that was just a little underpriced actually ... but good deal for the buyer! :)

yesterday one went on ebay for 1000 USD (hexar rf + 50mm f2 hexanon). i was interested but seller won't ship to australia. thought that was a great deal too.

also if one of you gents for some odd reason (why you would sell this is beyond me but it can happen!) decides to part with their hexar, please do think of me. thx!

It's hard to find a better Rf camera really. Many are very good, but for me - Hexar just feels better than anyone else. I have not tryed Zeiss Ikon though. But To me Hexar RF and M6 are a perfect combo. One is great gor wider lenses and has AE, but dependent to batteries, while M6 is a great for just about everything, but no AE, yet works without batteries. Together they make a perfect set for me.

yep, that was me who bought it. $800. i had been thinking of getting the lens, and on occasion, thought of getting the body. with the lenses going for around $450 on the auction site these days, i figured it's not bad getting a body on top of that for around $350.

Ive been in the market for a hexar body for some time, when you take condition into account the price seems to be all over the place, I see beaten bodies selling for the same price as mint ones on ebay...

I have one so mint I've been literally afraid to use it :)
Been thinking of selling it to finance the 50 lux asph but still on the fence, it really IS a perfect rangefinder camera.
