Hi there,

I mostly use 35mm, but I also have a folding 120 camera that I use sometimes. The trouble is, it doesn't have any focusing mechanism, other than a distance scale, which limits me mostly to outdoors, where I can rely on DOF to compensate for errors in guessing distance. I'd like to get a TLR since I think they're fun to use, but I would like to get an inexpensive TLR for my first one. I found a Yashica 635 up for auction for a reasonable price. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this camera, and would recommend it or not.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks, that was extremely helpful. I'm looking to try out TLR, to see how I like it, so I won't be jumping for a Rollei anytime soon. The 635 seems good to me, and ones without the 35mm kit seem a little cheaper, so that'll save me some money, seeing as I have plenty of 35mm gear anyway
