I started a thread a while back on this, but since we've actually got a forum here, I thought I'd roll this (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22956) out again.

Konica, while in the thick of Hexar-mania (such as it was), made an interesting twist on the Hexar RF when they decided to make a very limited (50 units) run of the Hexar RF in a half-frame version. It's all in the link, pics included. :)

Too cool! (I've just updated the Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexar_RF) on the Hexar RF to reference this. I'm not sure how it would have done commercially (Konica's Marketing Black Hole of Death being what it was) but nonetheless a marvellous concept for a camera variant.
