If I feel like buying a new Mamiya 7ii + 80mm lens, where is the best place to do so, and where can I get the best deal? I am a student, so it would also be great if I could get some sort of discount.

Thanks,
Einars

best guy (in my opinion) is a dude on ebay. his user name is something like ahmay or something like that. he sells brand new kits for $1625. you can also get it slightly cheaper than the ebay price i believe if you just ask to purchase it outside of ebay. you can normally find his auctions running. he also sells bodies only for $1050 or somewhere there abouts. there are several guys selling these, but the one i mention is the cheapest overall and i had great service from him. he's located somewhere on the west coast.

Do you get US warranty with new Mamiya 7II's bought off ebay? If not, where do you send it for repair, such as when the RF goes out of alignment?

I highly recommend HK Supplies for Mamiya purchases (ebay name is etefore). If you don't see the package you want on eBay, message them and they'll do a package deal for you on a body + lens + shipping. I have also purchased Leica gear from them in the past. Last purchase arrived in 3 days from Hong Kong, and the Mamiya pricing is 1/3 less than US prices.

Cheers,
