Fred,probably 35-45K i suppose .
So the number 14 visible inside in the body and inside the back is the real production number?

That is a beautiful camera, # 21 was the last of the prototypes, so this is one early body! Beautiful lens...

beautiful? the eye of the beholder.

hmm.

looks worn out and tired to me.

If I were born in 1946, I'd be old and tired too. :) Heck, I'm already tired.

the 24mm x 32mm format of this camera made it none exportable according to S.C.A.P's way of thinking.

It will most likely make far more than 24K.

I don't think so!!

What's beautiful? the serial number??

Rough!!

Here is 60924....beautiful!

That would seem correct. I have not actually seen it before.

Here is another Nikon one, without the number, from http://akiroom.com/redbook-e/kenkyukai06b/kenkyukai200611.html

Hi Fred,

Is the meaning of the inside number a guess,
or put forth from some Japanese source?

# 26 is marked # 2 inside, # 52 is marked # 23 inside.

It's rough, alright. But it has loads of character. I say it's beautiful.

detailed pics of early Nikon One's are far and few between

so if they interest you, save the pics from the auction!

also notice it does NOT have the matching serial number on the back,
just like 60926 and 60952

the pictures really show how much Leica there was in the first Nikon.

You all are wrong!

They take their own pictures, sooo, they don't delete!!

This is the only Auction-house that "guarantees for authenticity & condition".

They started camera auctions by selling the collection of "Late James A.Collins Jr."

Anyone knows James? Semms liks he was Leica:mad:

Has anyone here seen a "Luxus"? A real "Luxus"!!

How about that $75.000 M7? Yes, that's seventy-five thousand.

Reminds me of the fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes" by Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen.
