I have picked up a late model 35mm 3.5 Summaron in LTM mount and was going to put a Milich adapter on it and 6-bit code it as a 35/2 IV. The lens is in the new lens housing. I see on the Cameraquest site that the type II adapters are not compatible with the 35's with focus lock. Does this apply only to the older style lenses? The infinity lock on my lens is nowhere near the mount I can't see it would make any difference.

I wonder. Every such adapters are compatible with every M39 screw lens, especially Leitz-Leica, but also Canon, etc.

Some times with leaving the adapter in place and then trying to unscrew the lens, the infin catch would hit the preview. I have to first focus to close distance to get clearance.

This is not a problem if you bayounet off and on like you are supposed to do.

I can`t answer for CQ adapters. E-Mail Stephen for details.
