What is your 80% lens? By this I mean the lens you keep on your M8 80%+ of the time. Admit it, you all have your favorite - what is it? Mine is the Leica 24mm 2.8.

35 MM Summicron f/2 ASPH is my only lens. To make bigger, I get closer.
Enjoying the 50mm Lux ASPH, but the UC-Hexanon 35mm is gaining more time.

Used to be 35mm Summilux ASPH. But I think that'll change to the 28mm Summicron ASPH. The more I use that lens the more I like it.

None. There's one that's 91.02567% of the time (meaning not 100% of the time), but about 58.160082% of the time when I carry other ones that I don't tend to carry. ;)
That favorite lens is my 50mm Summilux pre-asph.

50 Summicron DR
Erikhaugsby, how did you fit the DR to the M8? I love this lense on my M3 and want it a lot on the M8. I thought to lime the near range focusing system but I feel something like pity for the good old DR. Is there any other solution?
1,4/35 Summilux from the 70th.

28 2.8 Elmarit
Its so tiny
100% of the time : 50 pre asph v3. brilliant but bit on the tight side.
I'm looking into the 28's and the 35's.

21mm Elmarit pre-ASPH
Er ... i have been playing around with my50's screw Elmar and Summitar - I can't go for later lenses yet - the body caused enough aggro to achieve ! - but a mint / late coated Fed clip Elmar copy seems to be the sharpest , whilst retaining that Elmar feel ...
OOPs ! it's now almost permanently fitted to the M 8 , 'cos I now need to practise on the camera technique , and i am getting familiar with this lense ... I am less worried if it gets a knock too , dee'spraxia !
And it's so neat on camera - [ I guess I also like the anarchy of the Fed Lense cap ]

Damn, that Nokton is nice. Is that SC or MC?
No one using a Biogon (35 or 28) as their go-to lens on the M8?

Would be the 50 Lux ASPH. I'm just a 50mm kind of guy.
I'm not sure about the 80% number but I'd probably have to say my most-used lens on the M8 so far has been my 28 Elmarit (4th version). The effective angle of coverage is close to the 35 Summicron on an M6 which is what I used most frequently with that camera. My minimal travel outfit with the M6 was 21-35-90, and with the M8 it's 15-28-90. I actually like the fact the 90 is tighter on the M8 because I always found 90 a little short on the M6.
35mmF2.0 ASPH. Small and dead sharp. DR

That's by far my favorite shot of yours I've seen. Nice!
For me it's been the 35mm Biogon

Honestly, it has been changing a lot. At first it was the 35/1.4 ASPH, then the 28/2, but now I am using the 50/1.4 ASPH a lot. I still have not quite sorted this camera out. I like the field of view of the 28, the depth of field and speed of the 35 and the performance of the 50...Part of the problem is that my M8 is broken...the 6 bit code reader does not work so using the 28 means cyan vignetting. I will get it fixed when I am back in the US...

Currently the CV 21mm Skopar. I wish I had your all's money for Leica glass, but I don't.
Keith: does your Hexanon work perfectly on M8? I read that in some cases Hexanon does not focus accurately on M8, where as it works fine on Zeiss Ikon and other Leica films camera. Even Reid's review mentions this. Do you experience no problem, though?
28/2 aspheric 90% of the time. Fast, sharp, classic "35" look on 1.33.
The other lens would be the 50 1.4 aspheric.
