How do I update the firmware for my M8 on a mac?

Exactly the same as on a PC.

Download the file, unzip it, copy it to the root directory of an SD card and follow Leica's instructions.

I don't think he is (although the thread subject is worded pseudo-implying that). I'd also like to get a copy of it, if it's out there. Hopefully they've fixed the annoying preview navigation hiccups.
