Anyone got one with an earlier serial number than mine, #185639?

I never gave any consideration to mine being an especially early model but I've noticed that every other I've ever seen is 3XXXXX or 4XXXXX. Even the one on Olympus's own photo archive is 2XXXXX (see here (http://www.olympus.co.jp/jp/fun/wallpaper/camera/dl/1969_01S.jpg)).

EDIT: Just spotted #176426 on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUPER-NICE-OLYMPUS-35-SP-CAMERA-W-G-ZUIKO-1-1-7-LENS_W0QQitemZ290175814873QQihZ019QQcategoryZ15234 QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItem) so that one's now the earliest I've ever seen...

Can anyone better that?

Hang on, I just bought this camera! :)

How odd to find you on here, but then again probably not. I have my weekend planned already, going to take my girlfriend out to teach her about her new OM-1n and give the Oly a few rolls to play with. Can't wait.

I decide I don't understand Olympus numbering.
Were Olympus cameras numbered sequentially in batches ie a grooup of 35SP followed by a batch of Trip, followed by ....?
