These Steinheil Sonnars are really great lenses. They are rare finds. Dr. Bertele, mr. Sonnar himself, worked with Steinheil for some time at the end or after WW2 so that's why these even exist.
Small and lightweight, focussing down to 60cm, IIRC. This needs a little adaptation for the focusing follower to work, but it is possible.
No connection to seller etc.
Rob, these must be exclusive to eBay-Europe. Only Steinheil Quinons showing on USA version (according to my search) are some with M42 threads. Can you give us a URL for these?

The 2nd. auction doesn't mention the fact of full compatibility with Leica thread and rangefinder, but the lens looks exactly like mine.
Both auctions don't mention the Sonnar formula either.

So the auctions ended at around 200 and 175 euros. Lots more than I paid for mine. Too bad these don't come around more often.
