Have always avoided fast film for fear of grain, until trying out this free sample. WOW ! Lovely saturated colors, and the grain actually lends some texture. And now I can bravely venture into shadowy/overcast/softer lit situations.

Did you shoot it at rated speed or did you shoot it lower to enhance shadow areas?
Can't see any grain on my monitor. Why is the right third of the picture so dark? From the shadows it is apparent that the sun is to the right of the camera.

My point exactly, Mukul. I had expected to see more grain with this film speed. And there are large, dark cloud (not in the picture) blocking the sun over the right side.
The picture was shot at rated speed of 800 ISO.
That's good, Subhash. I wondered if the shutter might be misbehaving.
