We often see religious images in day to day life in southern Europe, but robert blu has photographed this oddball one. Very nice.

jan normandale: Thank you for that mention. Right now I'm looking at that exact same view from my window and wondering whether to take a camera out to get the last light of the day.

Thanks Jan, Leica M2 Fan, and Jon, for picking "Restrooms."
It was so bright in the brilliant sunlight I had to don my sunglasses just to take the picture.

Jon,
Thanks for the mention of flotsam and jetsam, My wife had never seen the ocean before, so I took her to a beach not so far from Tokyo. She was just thrilled, but I couldn't get over how junk-strewn the place was. Guess I'll have to take her to Hawaii some day.

Looks to me like a polaroid transfer that didn't quite transfer properly. Worked out well though. I like it.
