View Full Version : Vitessa Gas Attack ...
Hi all,
I'd like to buy a vintage Voigtlaender Vitessa (with ultron without light meter) but I'd rather buy it out of ebay. Do you know any reliable on-line shop I can take a look to?
thanks :)
Nico,
I was surfing ebay last night, looking for a good deal on a Vitessa with the Ultron.
Hi Raid,
the vitessa is one of my dream camera, the mechanichs are so interesting, and so the fast ultron f/2; the design so simple and elegant ...
But I have any doubts about buying it on ebolay ... I'd like to buy a good working camera no matter about the cosmestics...
I feel the same way as you do. The optics are most important in a camera. I have the 50/1.5 Nokton for the Voghtlaender Prominent, so it is "natural" to look for a Voightlaender with the Opton.
Nico thought I would give this a bump. Probably one of the most beautiful cameras ever made. Very solid, fits well in the hand, the plunger feature is a marvel. The Ultron f.2 is a damn good lens. As usual ebay is a crapshoot, but I managed to get an excellent boxed one with manual and case for about $120 plus shipping. Your GAS attack reminded me that I need to take mine for a stroll. Here are a couple of old photos taken with the vitessa.

Thanks for the bump Steamer!
Wow, $ 120 for a boxed one is a great bargain .... I'm envious ;)!!!
I like both of the photos ... very nice ... they are making my gas attack feel stronger!
Ciao
one last "bump" ... before the risky 'bay

Have you looked in KEH?
Or surf thorugh APUG and other classifieds, they pop from time to time for about 250-300 euros in good condition
I have one with the Skopar and I'm happy with it but the Ultron is a few steps ahead!
