Well, as some of you know, we cruised down the Oregon coast last weekend, to stay in our favorite Hotel (Beachfront, in-room Jacuzzi) in order to relax, scope out an upcoming wedding shoot site, and to exercise the cameras and lenses. Upon reaching Newport, we decided to stop in at the Rogue brewery, to rehydrate ourselves. As luck would have it, on a customer's birthday, said customer receives a free brew. Mind you, this is no ordinary brew. It is in fact, their special $15.00 birthday brew. They call it the "Yarder" Cutting a deceptive and bewildered look, I pose the question, "what is the Yarder?" while Sharona is frantically digging out her identification, in order to procure this free mystery fluid. The waitress responds, "you'll understand when it arrives." Upon arriving, we were not disappointed. And I was even more pleased that Boggy wasn't there to quaff it down in short order. I would have it all to myself.

Keep in mind, being that I had to make a snap of this experience for the Klub, this was not an experience of pleasure or leisure, but more of a research project for klub member's. Their spring brew's are due out shortly, and I'll have to conduct some more research soon. These are the types of sacrifices and hardships that I make for my fellow Kironite's. I really hope you all appreciate it!

Boggy & Joe, we procured a couple pints of Shakespeare Stout for you. It'll be in your package. (for medicinal purposes only)

The strange look in your face tells me that you did some auxiliary research beforehand, Sire? :)

Indeed! As I'm sure that you would have too. ;)

As a man of science this would be an obligatory duty ;)

Looks a bit short to me. I presume the volume's the same, though...

Russ, something tells me that you'd really appreciate a visit to Amsterdam :)
I'll have to dig up my snapshot with yours truly holding a similar contraption during my stay in Amsterdam - I was there strictly for research purposes (i.e. beer sampling) :D

On a sidenote, now that I think about it, most of the brews sampled there (worth mentioning) were Belgian ;)

Yep, the BestStuff meeting was held in Prague, and of course we had to do a lot of research on local fluids!
