Joe,

I have an old one with the Stylized V from CV-land.

Try www.rapidwinder.com/softies.htm

Tom,

Nice upgrade to your site guy!

I've heard about some of those wonderful signs in China, MOST EXCELLENT picture!

Occasionally we get carried away and do strange colors on the Softreleases - turqoise, gold and even gun metal gray. It usually involves the guys who do the anodizing for us "Hey Tom, can we do some Softies in purple?". These are not stock items and tend to go fast (it is not feasible to keep 8 or 10 colors in stock). At the moment we carry only the black/chrome/green in the mini.
We will be restocking some of the blue Classics later and also red ones. For the ZM i recommend the Classic rather than the mini. There is enough clearance between the dial and the release to use it.
We are off to LHSA in Rochester in a bit more than a week. Once we are back we will look at some more "daring" colors and see what can be done.

Enjoy the 18% gray sky, perhaps Indian Summer will hit while you are there. It is the only summer you get in Rochester. Have a Gut Bomb at Schaliers (spelling, it's been years) down by the lake and get a custard. White hots are always in style, the gorge near the old zoo should be beautiful this time of year. Perhaps they will implode another building at the Park while you are there. I'm starting to understand what folks in Lowell Mass felt like when the industries closed their doors. The Park was a wonderful place years ago.

Have a safe trip and enjoy!

Maybe some day you can make a "midi" --in between the mini and classic.

One more request from a good customer--perhaps make a few w/ "oddball" threads like the Yashica CC/CCN, Minolta 7SII, Nikon F2, Konica C35, etc. have in silver and black.

i started using the minis and quite like them but i might give the larger classic a try when the blue ones are available again.

BB: It has been a long, warm, SUNNY and dry summer here. This week continues to be lovely (though rain is welcome, as I said, it's been dry), with LOVELY wispy clouds in cerulean blue skies. I hope to meet up with Tom & Tuuliki for coffee when they are here. I wouldn't dare take them to Schallers, have them eat custard (yuck!), or go anywhere near Nick Tahoes.

We may go to Java Joe's for coffee ... a very laid back, somewhat Bohemian coffee shop where Joe roasts his own in a real (flame) roaster, thus producing arguably the finest espresso beans in the world. He is also master of Kona coffee (he resuscitated a Kona plantation in Hawaii), has an estate varietal from Congo that is gutsy and supberb ... all this set in the wonderful public market.

It appears that since you left, things have improved!

:p :p :p :p :p :p

Received three mini softies today.
I can honestly say they make a significant difference in assisting with an easier/shake-free shutter release on my two M7s & MP.
Beautifully machined they just complete the shutter firing mechanism.
My only concern is that they could require some form of loctite to secure them.
Thank you T&T and Mr B for processing my order so promptly.
