As mentioned in another post of mine here, I used to use both a Zorki and a Kiev/Contax. I've been away from FSU cameras for about 10 years now and am stumbling along trying to find a suitable 35mm focal length which I can use on a Leica.

I'll be using it with an LTM>M adaptor on an M3.

Low price is the serious motivator in this project!

Reputable sources are also important.

Thanks.

a Jupiter 12 in LTM from Fedka or Leonjazz and maybe a 35mm FSU finder for the M3.

If you are interested in a Jupiter 12 and a matching 35mm finder or a turret finder, let me know. As a collector I have some duplicates to sell. Just take a look, maybe there is something for you: http://fotos.cconin.de/kameras/sell/objektivee.htm

I hope you don't mind me using your thread as the question I would like to inquire about is similar to yours.

I too want a 35mm lens that is cheap so that I can explore the angle better before committing. However, can the Jupiter 12 be used with the meter or at all with my camera? I am using a Bessa R2a.

As I know there could be problems using a J-12 on a Bessa! The lens of the J-12 goes very deep into the housing (only 1 or 2mm away from the shutter).

Ulrich, is there enough clearance in the shutter box of an M3 to accomodate the J-12 safely? Do you take PayPal?
