I have one last question regarding the SRTs. Sorry guys! which one do you guys prefer? I am watching SRT101 and SRT202 on ebay right now. Both are in excellent condition but I cannot choose because I have never handled one of those before. Much appreciated.

choose 101 which has Mirror Lock Unit.

202 has the periscope to see F stops on the lens.
The SRT 101 I have has not split image, just microprism. To me this is better with long (and/or) dark lenses.
I can't remember other differences.

They are essentially the same cameras given a couple different features as described. The body is the same so no difference in handling. If both are the same condition, get the cheaper one.

I personally hate those split image thingies so the 101 is my favorite, but that is just me.

Please note that not ALL 101s have mirror lockup. Some of the later ones came without it, though they're not all that common.

the only time I find the split prism useful is for critical focusing with long lenses or a macro

otherwise... either is ok as far as focusing is concerned
