Need a Front Element for 50/3.5 Elmar

Does anyone know if someone sells just the front element for the 50/3.5 elmar? I was trying to clean the new one I purchased from Erik, and I chipped the glass...... BAD. I am hoping I can get one, otherwise I have an expensive paperweight. :(

Matt, why don't you contact DAG? He comes across a lot of parts. I myself have a rigid summicron that was dropped-ruined the lens but there are plenty of salvagable parts. Stu

To be honest, it might not make that much difference on the front - unless a lot of glass has actually fallen off ?!

Test it, and if there is more flare than expected try painting the scratch black, so no light goes though that part to be flared in to the places where you would rather it didn't go . . .

It is certainly unfortunate though :(
