I'm new to the forum with renewed attraction to old RFs. Rrecently bought a Contax II
and it has a "Contax squeal" when turning either the focusing wheel or the lens focusing ring. Is this metal-to-metal sound curable at home with some lube on a swab, or should it be sent out for servicing. Thanks for info on what must be a common thing with Contax.
