Leather draw string style bag, or on the camera.

The Russion clones of the zeiss contax multi finder are bulky but do 28-135, if you tie then on with thread or whatever they can live on the camera.

I normally just leave them on the camera the finder will be safe if it comes off anything else might be damaged.

I keep VF's in several little cases- My ZM25/28 in a Tiffen pouch that came with a 62mm filter a while back- cordura with a soft lining. Not perfect, but ok. The Rollei 40 VF is in a small jewelry box, again not perfect, but ok. The Pentax 43 VF lives in an old Pentax hood case- leather with a velvet lining- pretty deluxe in it's day I suppose, but the zipper sucks, so yet again not perfect, but ok. I occasionally see old Zeiss VF cases on ebay, but they are always over-priced.

I have a little case coming that might just fit the bill a 7x7cm leather pouch, much like Noel seems to have described above...

You would think that mybe Domke or other bag makers would latch onto this market must be millions of viewfinders out there.

Yep, that's what I use for viewfinders and my VCII meter.

My CV finders fit in the Sandisk pouch that comes with their SD cards. I had quite a few lying around and not only did they fit, but they fit in the plastic compartment and the zipper closes. Complete protection for $0.

O.C.

And speaking of viewfinders. . . I noticed today that my RD-1 with a viewfinder on top is a tough fit in a Domke F6 bag. Has anyone using the F6 bag found an insert that will allow for the RD-1 to sit inside the bag on it's bottom?
