Dear friends!

After a long time down, I would like to announce that I've brought the RLDB Project back to life!

You can access it at the following url : http://carthago-ltd.com/rldb/

The database was restored, in the coming days I will be working on improving the listing choice (filtering/sorting) and in finding an easy way to allow everyone to pre-submit one or more lenses.

Stay tuned!

Cheers,
Max :D

I received a Helios 103 yesterday from Moscow (Contax mount), and your list indicates that the serial number of mine has an uncoated lens from 1984. I also received a very nice instruction and specs pamphlet, but I can't speak russian. Looking at it I would say that it has a soft blue coating. It does not look uncoated. I will use a hood anyway. Any thoughts?

are not H-103s from the 1980s coated?
the Soviets started to coat lenses after WW II if not sooner.

All helios 103 lenses generally have a very soft purple coating, it's almost unnoticeable, unlike earlier FSU lenses. Could you provide me wih more details? :)

Max, thanks for the database.
the J-3 with no symbol in the symbol column in the database, are they for the 3 lens element symbol?
if it is, according to RFF member Varjag, these are also made by Zomz,
something I never knew.

Thanks, I will add the Jupiter 3 LTM I recently bought and maybe your new version will allow me to add the missing mercedes-symbol to my Jupiter 8 (6000616) in your database.

Thank you very much for your efforts, Max.

I thought you might be interested in adding an example of a Sonnar copy.

My Jupiter-3 lens is marked as a Carl Zeiss Jena T Sonnar 1: 1.5 f=5cm . Nr. 2846XXX
