Hello

Just wondering if anyone can tell me where do I position the ASA selector when using Portra 160. There are 2 lines inbetween 100 and 200. Do I select the first one?(one right beside 100) or the second one?

Thanks in advance!

Glowie

I'd think second line would be closest to 160. IIRC the first one is for 125.

Glowie -- I shoot Portra 160NC at ASA 100. Like other color negative films, you've got some leeway there.

Glowie, welcome to the zoo :)

My Olympus XA performs best when fed with 200 ASA films. So you should be good with 160 films.

There's a table of ISO/ASA film speed settings here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_speed#ISO_film_speed_scales), with all of the third-stop values included...

I'll stick to ISO100 suggestion. It's negative and overexposure here is so small.

Will: You need to get some K25 for that XA... :D

You'd be amazed.
