I shot a colour film through my Kiev, the shots where the shutter "hung" make me glad I have some Arsenal ribbon on the way!
The shots where the shutter closed as it should I really like. First colour film I have shot in ages. There is also evidence of light leaks on some shots so they will be looked into when I do the shutter ribbon.

Definitely worth spending some time and effort on :)

Great looking shots! Which Kiev are you using, and what film was it? I really like the "St Patrick's" image.

Hi, It's a 1964 Kiev4 with Jupiter8 lens, Film was Kodak gold. Exposures guessed at based on "Sunny 11"

Hola Peter,

The pics shown are very good, I liked Mr Ed's looks specially (photogenic guy...).

Did you manag to understand why the shutter hangs in some of shots and not in others? and the same for the light leaks, ...the hardest problems to trace.

Hi Carlos,
Thanks for your comments. One of the shutter ribbons is broken, I am awaiting parts from Ukraine. The light leaks I will find when I do the ribbons. Not had this apart yet :)

you got a nice sample (except the shutter ribbons) and you'll certainly be very happy with it once fixed. The lens looks contrasty and sharp, that's a good point! Beginners luck? ;)
