Breaking news - a new model of an SLR camera has been spotted in Milan, greatly superior even to the latest Canon upgrades, see for yourselves:

It's a Praktica, the Traban of SLR cameras. Uses M42 lenses.

It's also the proud heir of the first pentaprism camera, the Contax S, which became later the Pentacon (PENTAprims CONtax). The name Pentax (PENTAprism conTAX) was sold to the Japanese.

So maybe you can woo her with a bit of German and intimations of a screwmount... (ouch! I'll pay for that one)
