Have anyone here heard of - or used - the gigabit film?

I had read the article from B&W magazine that is linked at the site you marked. I have not used it, or seen it anywhere other than listed by B&H, I think.

JandC Photo out of Kansas City carries Gigabit in 35mm plus the developer. They also have a detailed Gigabit datasheet in PDF format on-line;

click on the 35mm film link in the catalog.

I've read reviews on the Supersite- it's Lith film with a slow developer, as I remember. Just like the Kodak product. It's great if you use self blocking processes like POP but it's LONG tonal scale means that it's hard to print it well, from what I remember. I've used Tech Pan this way, and have either had to print it on HARD paper compressing everything, or had decent results on POP, after toning the negative.
