DR Summicron distance scale

My DR distance scale is in both meters and feet.

I was wondering if all DR's are this way or are there single scale lens??

Early heavy bright chromes came one way or the other. Late satin chrome have both.

So early examples were either feet or meters and later versions were both..

My DR #1514xxx, is in satin chrome and only feet scale. I think it is 1957, same vintage as the camera.

My D.R. Summicron, from 1962, have both scale field, meter and feet. The Summicron D.R. with only feet scale field was selled in the USA market, if i know correctly. I own also two LTM Nikkors, 85 mm f/ 2 and 135 mm f/ 3,5 with only feet scale field, originally selled in USA.
