Thanks for sharing! How do you feel about the WATE's price increase? Would you buy it again at the new price?

Here are some shots taken with my WATE and 50mm f1.4 non-asph lux. Thanks for posting. My WATE arrives on Tuesday and eagerly await it's arrival; can I ask if you are using it with an IR Cut filter or just 'as is'? .. my understanding is that an adapter is needed as standard filters can't be screwed directly onto the lens?

Thanks,

CS.

You will need either the oversized and impractical filter adapter and UV/IR filter or you can go for the MUCH cleaner adapter from John Milich (jm at milich.com). I can personally vouch for as being a superb piece of engineering that is both better made and looks more like a standard Leica product than the Leica product itself.

I also use John's adaptor for WATE. It works extremely well with a Leica 49mm UV/IR filter.
