Hi All
sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I normally hang out in the yashica and FSU forum. my question There was a movie years ago about photojournalists in Vietnam, and they had an imaginery photographer, and they used to come back to the bureau and say these pics were shot by ??????? hes always at the right place, there was a photographer that stole artifacts from temples, one that was more of a combatant than a photographer, and a lot of others - please help I am obsessing about the name but I cant remember it, so any help will be welcome
thanks

Sounds a bit like the killing fields, but that was Cambodia, not Vietnam?

Thanks again but its not under fire, or frankies house,
The photographer in the movie who was stealing artifacts was either french or belgian,
he was the one with the guns.
i dont remember names well ( thats why im looking for the title) so couldnt tell you who was in it.
thanks again Nathan

That's "The Quiet American", but I don't think it's the one being described.

Found it sorry it was a made for TV movie called SHOOTER made in 1988

"Shooter," aka Matt Thompson aka Gruwald is a photographer in 1967 Saigon, Vietnam. Working out of a news agency for a major magazine, Thompson gets involved in the lives of the soldiers he meets and "shoots." There's Ngoc, the Vietnamese photo lab tech; Klause, a German photographer swiping Buddhas; Rene, a French photographer who carries an AK-47; Stork, Matt's superstitious roommate who is also a photographer; Rizzo, the irascible editor; Lan, an American-educated Vietnamese reporter and Tracey an embassy worker who is Matt's former flame.
